Flatts to Palmetto Park
This part of the Trail will take you the roughly 2.5 miles from the village of Flatts to Palmetto Park, after which the railway right of way disappears into the streets of Hamilton. In this section the railway ran further from the shore, part way up the hillside, and the Trail provides some impressive views of the ocean as a result.

The mouth of Flatts Inlet, and the supports that are all that remain of Flatts Railway Bridge. Taken from the west in 1998. On the other the side the Trail climbs up to Aquarium Station and the Bermuda Railway Museum.
